asking price

1974 750k all there original exhaust in good shape
all oils drained no rust in tank
does not run, good compression, 10k on the odometer
no headlight
paint in good condition he wants $1000
what is a good asking price
i figure $800

If it was me I would offer 600 and then see what he counters with. If he counters with 800 then split the difference and settle on 700. If he counters with 900 or more just go to 800 because he won't go below 800. Stand firm at 800 and if he won't agree then walk away. 60% of the time the seller will agree with your offer just because he sees his interested buyer and probable sale walking away. The last thing you do before leaving is give him your number and tell him to call you if he changes his mind and that your offer stands unless you find a different bike first.

No, I think Raul meant $3.50 EUROS, which equals about $800 US right now.  ;D

You guys crack me up. Be reasonable and ask $99.99. Seriously though, that bike north of the border would be at least $1000, if it is truly complete.
