What Kind of Yamaha?
« on: April 16, 2008, 08:53:18 AM »
Keep seeing this bike.. looks like  about a 250 single but no decals on it..

Fat tire.. and I do mean FAT!!

Like 130 on the front, and a 180  :o on the back.. huge meat on it, bigger than a Harley E-Glide tire!.. sorta enduro bike..

Anyone know what they are called?

Yeah, and with a $3799 MSRP, it is affordable.  Probably get out of a dealership with one for less than $4000 including all fees, taxes, registration, etc.

i read about these in another forum. i heard they're geared to climb a wall. there was also a link to a jap site about kids turning these into street bikes. if i can find the link, there were some pretty sick bikes rolling on the streets in japan.

So, you haven't been to a bike dealership in a while then, huh?  Or been on craigslist looking for a used bike, either?

I guess you're a cheapskate like me, and keep on fixing your old bike! ;)
