So what do you all think of these pistons.

Looks like the exhaust valve hit, its like that on all four...

If you wish to save money,I think you can get away with these.File off any sharp edges on top of pistons and emory cloth to smooth off high spots on seize marks  on thrust surface.Check piston to bore clearance to make sure they are not too loose.If ok,hone cylinder to remove glaze.Rings can also be used if not damaged.I have used parts that looked worse than these,machine runs fine after 4 years daily use with no oil burning,no funny noises,and good power.These engines were built very tough,and will respond just fine to less than perfect parts with proper checking and massaging.   Rock On
