In a fix re: CB450 keys
« on: April 17, 2008, 09:31:07 AM »
I have a nice little CB450 sitting in my garage. No rust in the tank, less than 7 thou on the odometer and no key.

I called the local Honda shop (why are the people there so damned rude??). He said that he didn't have any "T" keys like this model takes and I had no other solution except to trace one down on Ebay. He said that even locksmiths don't have the blanks.

#$%*!

Any suggestions? I'd imagine that somewhere out there, there is a Honda dealership with some T keys.

toggle switch to bypass ignition?
That's what I did.

Or use a later ignition from another bike.
No.
