2005 Durango Service Question
« on: April 17, 2008, 12:47:26 PM »
My son-in-law has a 2005 Durango, 4x4 big V-8 (hemi I think). Misplaced the manual. How often to the transfer case and front/rear diff. need servicing and does "servicing" mean drain and refill? Oh, it's closing in on 90K miles.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

I've heard 60k i've also heard 100k nothing specific to this model.
I farted and made my son cry.

Yup, 60k miles or 100k Km's is when I change the diff fluid. My Brother (Big Chev truck guy) agrees. Transfer case fluid could probably go a little longer but you're at 90k miles now so I'd say change it too.

Servicing is drain and refill for most diffs and transfer cases.... Unless you find suspicious objects in the fluid  ;)
