Topic: maxi dwell points and other stuff

G`day guys
While i`m waiting on the fairing and side covers to be ready for paint i figured i would give  the old girl some decent attention....
I picked up a set of maxi-dwell points a while ago but theres no instructions with it so if anyone has a copy of the relevant information i would appreciate it if you could post it here.
The other stuff i was looking at doing was to put a kit through the carbs, (76 750 f with kehiens, anyone got part numbers?) and was going to do the boots with the softening recipe i saw in the forum http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=29707.0 , anyone know where i can get xylene or wintergreen oil in australia?

Sorry, don't have any info on those maxi-dwell you got on ebay....
don't you just make sure you have 1-4 lined up by a static method, then 2-3 are 180 degrees after... there is a little timing/neon light attached ??

Just give the carbs a good clean up, and make sure all passages are clear after cleaning them. do it twice to make sure (compressed air is really good for small blockages)..

most parts/jets should be ok..

the rubbers are not easily resurrected... I just got some decent hose clamps... and made sure the rubbers I used had no cracks in them....

just wanted to make sure i got everything right 750goes.......
the post i linked to say they are having great success resurecting hardened parts, and they are using them with no problems i thought that may save me a few expensive bills........
My local honda shop said "they dont exist" when i asked for a price on them, and the ones i see on ebay either are wrong or go for ridiculous money
