Loonymoon, nice to see we have an equal opportunity club in the Heavy Horses,
Sorry you got stuck with #$%* as a title
By the way if I use my online name I come off as Dirty Operator of the Booze Junkies MC
As for my own experiences with biker's (real biker's I mean, not the RUBs you see out there) I have found many of them spent time on a bike like mine in their younger days and have a certain "respect" you may call it. I recently went to the Wharf Rat's Rally and was camped with my son next to a couple of old biker's riding 50's harley's and we had a great time taking jabs at each other's rides over the weekend.
The funniest was when he was kicking his bike over on a cool morning. Needless to say he was jumping on that thing like like he was trying to roll over a 747 jumbo jet. When it fired up, I reached over mine from the left side and leaned onto the kickstarter and fired it up with my HAND!! The look of envy was noticeable for a moment and then we all had a good laugh about it. His last comment of the weekend to me was that even though he had had his ol Harley for 28 years he still missed his '75 750 Four.
I never have and never will consider myself a "biker" I prefer the title of being a "rider"
To me, a biker is someone whose existence revolves primarily around their motorcycle and/or their "club".
In my case, my existence is enhanced by my motorcycle and the people I meet because of it, not based on it.
