1976 CB750F. I think my dad paid $500 for it in 1995. My goal is to have the time to make it a reliable piece of transportation. The past 5 ish years, everytime I took it out, it broke down. This year, I started to work on it to get it inspected but I got too busy at work to mess with it. Currently I am working on fixing up my garage so I have a good place to work on it (my tools are still at Mom's house so that complicates things). Once that is taken care of, print up some wiring schematics, get some good tunes, and get to work. Enjoy some pictures.

These are my boys:

CB750 K2, 1973, original Dutch license

I have rebuilt this bike completely and used 99% original parts. My goal was to bring it back to it's first shape.

This was the bike when I bought it:

Then I bought this CB750 K2, 1974, originally Dutch as well. I have done a technical restoration, not optical. I am considering to sell this bike as I already have a K2 and also a K0 and K1. My garage is only 5.5 x 3 meters.

This summer I found a 1970 Cb750 K0, US license. This bike was stored in a shed since 1987 and sold after the owner passed away. Only 5000 miles and no doubt about it! It is big fun do work on this bike. I will keep it original, only the frame will be repainted and some iron parts zinced

Last week I bought this CB750 K1, original Dutch as well. There is a lot of work to do to get this bike back to its original shape. It has a K6 engine, but I have already found a K1 engine woth a pretty equal engine no.

Tnx. I have to say that the gray one has been restored to the Candy Gold one. That's the same bike, but after and before restoration.

WOW!!!!.......just WOW!!!!......way sweet harem you have there!!! I might have to look into moving to the Nertherlands !!!!

I just made my mind up!!!! I gotta have more than 1!!!!! I have my trusty 75 and bought a 71 & a74 earlier in the year.I really get jazzed when I see the older ones all decked out.The 71 is locked up and has all the 70's bling....extended forks, way too tall #$%* bar, etc.The 74' spins over and is in more stock shape. Both have clean California titles and I bought them dirt cheap with a homemade bike trailer thrown into the deal(the 74 was on the trailer when I got there!!!)I had to go back for the 71 with no license on the trailer (60 miles from Modesto to Groveland).......winter is here but its California!!!!....I'm still riding but really wanna start tearin' into that 74.Party on 750 owners!!!!.......

Back in April of this year, I picked up a pair of '78 CB750K's for $250.00, only one has a title. The P.O. said he bought them about a year ago but the title was in the name of the guy he bought them from (we'll call him Bob). It turned out that Bob hasn’t owned the bikes for about 20 years!! Bob gave both bikes to his cousin Jim and they sat in his shed up until about a year ago when my P.O. traded a shotgun for both bikes! (Special interest note: Jim's house burned down and the shotgun was destroyed.) I can’t make this up folks! You're probably wondering why I didn't walk away and to be honest with you, after reading what I typed, I'm wondering the same thing!

Anyway, in a stroke of luck, I had no problems getting the title in my name. I still want to get the title for the other bike but "Bob" isn't returning my calls so I'll have to figure something else out (if anybody knows Missouri title laws better than the D.O.T., let me know)

It's a slow process getting it to where I want to take it because, as we all know, kids, careers, house, (yadi, yadi, yadi,) you don't have a lot of time! But it will get there eventually....

You might want to check the vin on your bike.....because the Planet Blue Metallic was ONLY available on the 1975 K5

bikes with a build date of 9, 10, 11, 12, / 74 would be a 75 K5

1974 K4 vin would start at ..... cb750-2300001

1975 K5 vin would start at ...... cb750-2500001

of course, someone might have swapped the tank and side covers out or even repainted them to the blue...

But I was also reading recently that the K2 remained in production for other markets until 1976.

The serial #'s tell all.......I have not heard anything about the k2 being produced for ? four ? years beyond it's end date....for what non-usa market? Would seem odd for HMC to be keeping just one model in production concurrently with new models each year....that would cost quite a bit and for what end purpose? Love to see/read/hear this info that you have brought forth.

That may be Freedom Green Metallic......petcock looks to be on right side as well...ya gotta zoom in on the pic to see it..
