Well...I guess I am now on the list.....better late than never.  My baby is a modified 76 CB750F.  It has a 76 GL1000 front end and brakes...a 78 K model tank......GL1100 air shocks on the rear.......and a 72 K motor...topped off with a full dyna ignition system.  Curretlu updating the wire harness with new fuse box and separate feed for coils...and headlight on relays.

Good to know that you're not going to have to change much....  ;D

No seriously though, I'm mean I like the Dead and all, but really? Are you kidding me? That's horrific.

Here is my 76 CB750A.  It's got aftermarket pipes, Hondaman ignition, and modern rubber, but otherwise it is stock.  It just turned 35,000 miles last week.  This is the second time I have owned it, but it is staying with me this time.  No plans to let loose of it, for fear of not getting it back.

Mine is a 1971, but I actually built it from the best parts of three bikes while in college.  The frame is 1971, engine is a 1973, many other parts from a 1974.  Gave it to my father in 2001 when I bought a V-star.  He just gave it back because he never rides it.  Now located in Rio Rancho, NM.

Seattle, WA near Boeing Field.

1978 CB 750F SS.

This is how I bought it, the only things I've added were Green Dyna coils and a Dyna electronic ignition.

Come to find out later on, one of the previous owners put a 'K' model engine in this bike, which is fine by me because as long as it starts on the first try and goes fast I'm happy.

I recently bought a 1976 CB750f SS. 18k miles, and overall in pretty good shape.

This is what it looked like when I brought it home, and I am slowly making it look a more respectable.

Cheers,
Matt

I'm in! 1972 cb750f. she's a little road warrior-ed out...but it didnt have original paint or sidecovers when i bought it so i think it looks better now than it did before...but other than some spray paint and a replacement sidecover it's all stock and original. Perhaps some upgrades over the winter....

Was this photo taken in a mirror as your bike appears to be "round-the-wrong-way"  -battery sidecover is on right, front disk brake on right hand side, chain on right, gears on right....these are all on left on any CB750 Ive seen....interesting photo!! More info? Here is my K4 for comparison...

cheers
Andy
