Topic: flat clear coat?

My bikes flat black, and I'm thinking about throwing a splash of color on there.
Has anybody ever done or seen some airbrush work with a satin low gloss surface finish?

I've done a fair amount of airbrushing but not much auto or cycle work.

in Gloss & Semi-Gloss..in rattlecans...

Yes but as I understand it that wouldn't stand up very well to fuel and oil.

I just ordered a 2 stage urethane basecoat and clearcoat in flat. search ebay for hot rod flatz. What kind of paint do you have on it now?

 ...the previous owners paint job. Which looks ok... except for a fair amount of deep chips like it's been sitting in someones shop for years.
It is in very good condition on the inside.
The emblem depressions have been smoothed over.
I was planning on stripping it down and just going with the flat black.

I may be repainting in a year or two anyway.
why not
