Topic: sprockets

any guys out there that can help me on this..when putting a cbr 600 rear wheel on a cb650, are both sprockets same? ie cb650 gearbox sprocket and cbr600 rear sprocket, can they both be run on cb 650 chain or the cbr 600 chain...i know both chains will be a different pitch etc...all help welcome lads

depends on what year it is,iirc,the cbr up to around 97 or so  used a 530 chain,i think in 98 they went to a 525 chain.however if need be sprocet specialists can make you any thing you need.

im looking at putting a 91-95 CBR600 rear wheel in and the CB650 is a 79 model...been trying to fing what chain is fitted to the 650 but not had any luck...
