I rode my dad's CB550 back in the late '70's (I had a CL175 twin at that time) before I got my CB350F a short time later.
Now  1972 CB350FX (experimental v2.0)
        1981 CB650c Custom with '79 engine (wifes)
        1981 CB650 engine
        2004 HD XL883C Custom
        1977 Yamaha XS750D (in progress)
Then 1972 CL175
        1964 Yamaha YGS-1T

I had a 1971 cb350 in 1982-83 for about 2 months. Rode it through mom's fence while they were away. A little out of my league for a 16yr old ;D ;D

Have not been on another until Oct, 2007 when I bought my 1978 CB750K.

cheers

All except 350 BUT i did use to work for a main dealer! (350 was never officialy imported to UK)
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

I ahve had my 76 750k for 10yrs now and love every minute of it. I also found a cb350 (can't remember the year) 15 yrs ago, it was in the woods and someone had set it up to be a trail bike, i watched it for a month and finally took it home. I had to wrap a wire around the clutch lever because someone had taken the battery out, took the shift lever off and stripped many other parts off of it. Needless to say I got new plugs for it, new gas & oil and battery, and the first time i kicked it over.....WHAM! It fired up and instantly jumped to at least 7000 rpms scared the poo out of me all in about 2.5 seconds! The thing had no kill switch someone had it wired straight so i had to yank off two of the plug wires to kill it. Never got any where with that bike and gave it away but if I knew then what I know now I would have kept that scooter. 8) 8)

Just got a 550K3/750K7 and CR750 at the moment
A couple of years ago I also had 400F/400F1/550F1/750F1 and 750K2 plus the above, all at the same time. They looked good all lined up in the driveway on a sunny day!  Just like being at a 70's dealership!
But now I'm also into Italian bikes so don't have the space.
In the UK anything over 40 years old only needs insurance and Fuel.

God only knows how many SOHCs I've ridden because my dad used to work on them & would take me for rides (((one caught on fire one time))) but that's a story for another day...  Majority of them were 750s.

I've driven:
1975 CB550K
1976 CB550F
