What do you look for or do before taking your first ride after reassembling your bikes. Double check? so on.

For me the biggie is to check the torque of all suspension components and the function of both brakes before flight.

OIL, OIL, OIL, one of the easyest things to forget, but one of the most important. Make shure you have oil.

I keep a running punch list during the entire rebuild project.  The first test ride really isn't the best time to realize that you didn't torque the steering head bearings, etc.
