Crap! Should I buy it?
« on: April 24, 2008, 05:12:11 PM »
1974 Honda CL360 scrambler

7,500 miles on the clock.  All original except new battery last week.  Huge fairing, and hardly any rust.  Left side of tank dented in, but paint is not cracked.  He's asking $500.  Worth it?  Paint is kinda orange, seat cover intact tires look original.
I need help moving my project bike from Wisconsin to Seattle, WA.  Willing to pay well.  Contact if interested.

Worth depends on how much you want it, but $500 seems high for what sounds like a weathered 360.  It would be more desirable if it was a CL350.  Offer less and be prepared to walk away.

Even a $500.00 CL350 can be a long road up a hill $$ ;D

Most important question....does it run/ride ok? If so, $500 for a running, rideable 360 of any model is a very very decent price.
A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

You're too far away, otherwise I'd say no you should pass on it,  Then I'd pick it up
(merely to remove temptation of course)
