What the heck does this do?



I just got back from a trip to India and there are many swastikas on the cabs and rickshaws.  It is the symbol of Ganesh (the god with the elephant head) and is indeed a sign of luck and prosperity.  The symbol is also in use as part of the Falun Gong religion in China.

Its really too bad that people only associate it with the Nazis because it is a very elegant design in my opinion.
