Any Knife Show Fans?
« on: April 26, 2008, 11:18:05 AM »
Are there any Knife Show fans here? If you've never seen it, you may want to check it out. It's kind of like the Home Shopping Network for really lame knives, including pocket knives, bowie knives, swords, Japanese samuri swords, etc. It comes from somewhere down south and appears as if it's shot in somebody's basement. The main characters, and I do mean characters are Tom Odell, Sheila and Todd.

It is absolutely hilarious. They are famous for selling lots of 100-300 assorted knives for about $1 each. Now, that's quality! Even if you don't watch it, check out this video (safe for work):

Knife Show Tragedy

It's on late evening into the early morning, and on my DirecTV, it's on channel 227. I like it because I can always flip to it to be entertained during commercials.

Are you talking about "Knives Live" from the Smokey Mountain Knife Works in Pigeon Forge, TN?  Their website,eknifeworks.com,  is great and mostly free shipping when ordered online.  Good inexpensive Christmas gifts for guys.

Nope. Sorry, I should have been more specific. It's officially called Cutlery Corner Network. I haven't seen Kives Live; however, I've heard they sell quality stuff.

Oh crap, I love that show. It used t be on basic cable
here.
I especially love those samurai sword blowout sales!
REAL samurai swords start at 10 grand, but why pay
that when you can get one from them for $49.99, plus shipping?
Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

Maybe because they shatter like they are made of glass? ;D

At least we know they're sharp. :-)

You should tune in if you can. Last week they sold a collection of 7 of those samuri's **plus display stand** [their emphasis entirely] all for $130. Last night, Odell knocked everything off a top shelf while trying to position the most bizarro sword I've ever seen. (Think Excaliber broadsword meets Klingons meets Jim Bowie.)
