Name calling when posting. Have we gone to far??
« on: August 16, 2005, 10:49:55 AM »
I ran across this example of name calling today.

 Mr Indian-Knacker-Giver
Because we have a wide varity of "senstive" members,  I think we should be carefull.  A better way to say this would be.
Mr Native American-tesicle non-giver-upper
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

No you said they might be a scoundrel and only if they did not keep to their end. Nothing wrong with that.

eldar, I am a mutt/bitsa/sooner/mongrel born in America. Just like dogs, we're better looking and more intelligent than the so-called pure-breds who really aren't.
You stepped over my line. I know that several of my friends down here talk like that, but they don't do it around me.

I am no means PC as to what I might think and say about certain sugjects,BUT I am not racist or look down on people of other color or where they are from. I was not brought up to be that way. Of course ,I was born in Vermont, part american indian to. The Vermont thinking is based on a very hard and rugged history. At on time even after the American fight with England was over, the Vermont land owners had too fight off others who were trying to take their land[two different claims on the land],and there were a few fights over this issue. So the old time green mountain boys were a tough bunch and some of them still are. But I have no racist turns in my head. But if a guy is a theif or a jerk,or wharever I don't mind calling it the way it is. But we need to be considerate of other cultures[spelling aint my strong point!]

Father Honda I have sinned,

I have used name calling in several of my post last week.

I said Tree-hugger once.  Jap a few times, but not in a bad way.  I always call familys of the few Native Americans the white man did not shoot with his handgun when he came to this country Indians.  I always refer to Terry Prendergast from Australia as Terry from Ozzieland when in my heart I mean OZ as in "the wizard of", that has been a secret joke for me.  I called the Woodchuck under my shed a groundhog yesterday.  I told my bike I loved it knowing I have lusted after the 2005 Honda Aero for months. I said Raul is whiney and testie at times.  I said thank you last Friday but I meant Bite Me to the guy that told me motorcycles can kill you.  I have told people my last name was Killer Eagle instead of Quail.   I sold a part on Ebay for more than it was worth ONCE.  I called my dog stupid 1850 times this during breakfast.  I started this post so people would think i care about others feelings when I really don't care what any of those a$$ kissing,tree-hugging, fag, Democrat,  Republican, Communist, Left- or Right-Wing whatever, Buck toothed, ugly, stupid, John Bircher, living outside of the good ol USA, white, black, nazi, Dusterdude (made fun of my last name) people think!

Oh yea  I also said a$$ kissing,tree-hugging, fag, Democrat,  Republican, Communist, Left- or Right-Wing whatever,Buck toothed, ugly, stupid, John Bircher, living outside of the good ol USA, white, black, and nazi this week.

These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

Well I had to test waters since the subject was finally brought up ernie. I am no racist but I will say it as I see it. It all depends on the person. Some people who what I said might be offended were not yet others who havbe no reason to be offended are. Isnt that about how the world works now!?
Quail, we have all done those things...well most of them. I might try to do that with a fairing mount that was supposed to be for a cb 750. Well it was WAY too arrow for mine. Maybe the 76 and eirlier years are narrower. It probably fits a 500/550.

WANKERS! ;D ;D ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Quail...I also have a funny name, funny if you are an English speaker. ANtyway, a few winters ago while shoveling my driveway a neighbor came over to complain about his new landlord, "....a damn forieegner from China..." on and on he went. To which I looked him in the eye, and said, "I know exactly what you mean. I just immigrated from XXX a few years ago and bought this house." The look on his face was priceless.  ;D But I still don't vote Republican, democrat or liberal!! Oh, the point? you never know whom is a foriegner in the USA. So, watch your back.  ;)

I wonder if we are actually talking the same language, Foreigner surely means anyone who is not English (tongue in cheek)

This is an outtake from the Times in the 1880’s

I don’t think attitudes have actually changed
