needle valves

leaking gas out the overflows
when i tap the carb the gas stops
figure a needle valve is sticking
can i repair the sruck needle valve without removing the carbs and do i need to get the carbs syncro'ed again

drop the offending float bowl and remove the float,the needle will fall out at that point,be carefull dont lose it.clean the tip real well and make sure its not cracked and then blow carb cleaner into the seat and take a soft rag or something of that nature and clean the seat with that,that should take care of any debris that may be in there.

 If it's a metal tip float needle you'll have to replace it and the seat.
