Vancouver gathering
« on: April 29, 2008, 03:30:14 PM »
Looks like there's a half-dozen or so of us Vancouver area SOHCers, who's up for getting together one evening for a coffee or even a bit of a ride? Could meet anywhere, somewhere like Commercial Drive?? I'm in Coquitlam so I'd rather not go all the way downtown.

Met you at the Vintage Swap Meet and I'll be there.
Commercial Drive is a good place to base a meeting location from.
I ride would also take my vote.

See ya soon
Jimmy

Hi Jim - Yup, I remember you from the Swap Meet. Looks like only the two of us are interested, not sure if it's worth the bother but I'm always up for meeting another owner and seeing a CB, any kind!!! If you're ever up for getting together let me know, lets just wait till it's a little warmer. Wayne.

Count me in Wayne.
I'm headed for Sonoma next week but will be good for rides after that.
That might also be good for the temp too.

See ya later
Jim

The weather seems a little better, we should go out for a burn.  And if anyone around vancouver is bored and wants to tinker with bikes drop me a line..would love someone with experience with sohc's to hear how my bike is running, riding etc

I will supply the beers..

cheers

Sunday at high noon we could meet up on commercial drive at calabria commercial & 2nd

just throwing it out there, I am free until early sunday eve

I am flexible to meet up wherever, we could always meet at my place in east van and have a beer for the road

I have a fathers day thing later in the day around 4, maybe next sunday.  Tuning my bike up now and having 1 or 2 issues, so I could probably use the extra week
unrelated anyone know where to get a good set of vacuum gauges locally, its carb synch time

cheers
