yep... just a tiny bit.
i was actually trying to go the other way with it thinking that i had a 16 on the front and that would not change.
but, since i went up in the front and down in the rear... it was not geared down but very slightly up.
tis ok... speed is good.   ;D 8) ;D

p.s.  that top speed is about 5-8 mph too low.    ;D   if there were no speedo error.    ;)

probably could've looked that up, but... you know.   ;)

here, have a look...

oh, by the way... PO's idea of torque settings:

manual calls for 54 ft/lbs on rear sprocket nuts... set to about a gibillion ft/lbs requiring two busted sockets, a week-long wound having yet to heal on my bird finger!, and a rubber mallet as the enforcer.
manual calls for 75 ft/lbs on the engine sprocket nut... nut was loose on threads w/ a large washer w/ bent edges locking the nut from spinning.

i have yet to find much of the bike put back together the way it came... funny thing is, the guy was a knowledgeable mechanic.  guess he just didn't own a torque wrench.  or, he threw it when i usually try not to... even in a maddened haze i have the presence of mind to not hurl calibrated instruments.   8)  unless of course they are intended to measure hurling velocity.   ;D  <frat party toy?   :-X

anyway... shop manual says nothing of this "safety washer"... aftermarket?
