I just wanted to drop a line with a little info about myself. I just recently bought my first cb750 k4. I got the bike from a friend for 750 bucks delivered. i also have in my stabe a cbr600 f3 which i have done a good deal of work on since i have owned it. My father was a road racer and is known in our area for building rd350 and 400 race bike engines. after going with him and friends to local tracks i fell in love with motorcycles. i love the new street bikes and will probably always have one but i have always wanted a mean cafe racer to tear up the streets with. Something about the style just speaks to me and always has. After months and months of searching i found this k4 and decided that the only way i would ever have a cafe racer was if i built it myself. The funny thing about this is that i have no experience building a cafe racer. with this being said i feel like the cd750 gods have thrown me a bone by creating this forum. i would like to thank you all for posting your own stories and helping me muster up the courage to give this thing a good go.With out finding this forum i would have never bought this bike. so i will post my progress and pics if thats cool with you and although i know very little about these bikes i would be happy to help if i can.
