Electrical specs?
« on: May 04, 2008, 03:32:04 PM »
Does anyone know where to find electrical specs for various models?

I ask because I've heard the 750A's have more electrical output, then I also saw CB900 coils on a 550 and would like to be able to compare specs for different models.

Thanks.

Best advice on the coils: check the primary with an ohmmeter. Some CB900 coils are 3 ohms, will need external resistors, particularly on a 500/550.

CB750K/F bikes had 210 watt alternators (around 13 amps peak).
OK, "A" guys: what does your spec show? The "A" does have bigger alternator and battery, both. It ate up some of the HP, too.  :-\
