Try of course vintage racing guys in your local track ( I am i italy) where they get their covers.

Another option are the tires that Avon makes for the Triumph Thruxton cup. The AM22/ AM23

TG

I'll be going to New Mexico,USA in September to catch a AHRMA event with the express purpose of seeing what is allowed on the bikes and what type of rubber people are racing here in the states.

The Pirelli's are the best so far and have been put to the test in the country side. I would expect them to do well on the track as well but have yet to be able to sustain speeds over 100mph for very long on public roads and cornering speeds are much lower due to there being only one lane.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

Hey TG,

Conti(nental) TKV11/12 is a great tip, have them around my extra set of wheels. They work, and look, great and at a very reasonable price too.
And your right about the all out racing.

Cheers, Rob
Better sorry for failing then for the lack of trying.

Good idea scondon, did the same before taking up racing, took plenty of pics, lots of close-ups, talked with some guys, really helped. was a kind of guide while building, gave me a target to shoot for.

Rob, I have a long break till next race (september) and afraid I might miss the track. any nice events in your area in july-august?
