This morning I put insurance on the little bike and got a new set of plates for it.

) and synced the carbs.
I headed out at about noon and put on 65 miles

I must have looked like that griny smily face guy. No problems with the bike either. Ran great, and seems to run better the more I ride it.
It occured to me when I approached the first curve that this was in fact my first curve on a street bike. (I made it

Hit my first large bug in the process.
I did my first wave to another rider within five minutes.

Waved to another 10 after that (three crotch rocket riders didn't wave back, I think they're too scared to let a hand go

)
Had my first coffee with another rider at Tim Hortons where 4 other people came over and asked about the bike.
This riding bit is FUN!!! I don't want to stop now. To me, restoring the bike was lots of fun but riding the bike today was the most fun I've had with my pants on in a long time

Thanks to all the folks on the forum for helping me get to this point. Maybe know I can build some miles and help with some "rider" like questions
