Hey All,
Well just out of nowhere I lost my rear driveshaft doing about 50. It also took out the rear yoke also. Got the rear yoke reaplace the rear tailcone housing took it out also. Well I couldn't just slip the new/used driveline on the rear output shaft of the t-case without loosinging the housing. I knew something was wrong then. Took off the housing and examined the shaft while running. Sure enough output shaft on the 231 t-case is bent. Go to my favorite yard and get a outputshaft I pulled myself. cost me 6.00
? is would you mess with my t-case with 246,000 miles or just score another that doesn't leak or is in good condition for 60.00 and do the swap.
Im thinking the latter since you have to split the cases to swap the output shaft.
