The polls so far show that the majority ride 750's with a few modifications on 87 octane. I don't know about you, but I thought it was interesting. Of course, I'm drinking alchohol.

Doesn't seem too surprising to me.  The 750's were the most popular and most abundant of the sohc4s, they were intended to run on regular gas, and they're all at least 30 years old so will most likely have had some type of modifications made to them.  Of course, I've had a couple of beers myself.
