Hello everyone. I just broght homw two 1972 Honda CB750's one with 9,000 original miles. the other one is a complete parts bike that I may end up restoring. The 9,000 mile bike started right up when I got home however it does have some issues that I will address in the tech forum.. Anyway nice to be here and I hope to learn from the experts on this site.

Thanks,
Rick

Ok here she is.. The bike needs a major cleaning.. most of the chrome is really nice underneath the grime. The engine is really clean under just a light coat of grime will shine nice with a bit of elbow grease. The seat is in original condition. Kinda dont wanna sit on it. The inside of the tank looks very clean.

I am looking forward to late next week when I will ba able to dig in and clean it up to get a better idea of what I got.

I dont know what the guy was thinking when he spray painted the side covers and tank. He painted right over the petcock. He also ruined a very nice pair of headlight clamps. He cut them off!!! grrrrrr. luckily the spare bike has a decent pair. In fact I will probably end up using the other bikes forks.

The wheels rims are super clean. The spokes have some weathering but i think I can make em look good. I am thinking about taking out the spokes and powder coating them black. I think it would look sick with black spokes, chrome rim, and a fat whitewall

and a couple boxes of  parts...

The "other one"

Thanks for pics. If those vehicles behind the bikes are yours, then I would guess you are no stranger to a restoration job.
