Hey,

There's something wrong when an 8 year old has a reason to play and sing blues regardless of how well he does it.

I don't know the stuff he plays, but blues isn't just about sadness.  Its a style of music.  Just like all rap isn't necessarily about shooting cops and smackin' hoes (though most is)

The reporters used the word prodigy, for once i dont think they were exagerating to get ratings. That kid has more musical talent in his little finger than i do in my whole body. I couldnt carry a tune in a bucket..........

I never realised rap was about beating up agricultural implements ;D

He hasn't lived long enough to understand the words....it's kinda like singing a song in a foreign language, it's just words.

In the summers on my parents farm, if you helped all day in the hot hayfields you got a beer off the truck at the end of the day.

Didn't matter how old you were.
You can't make too much popcorn, but you can definately eat too much popcorn.

I agree, but there's no reason under the sun that an 8 year old should have a clue.
