Here's a seat exactly like I put on my 66' Cb72 back in 68'. CMS has the item with 2 left in stock for only 449 Euros ( I think that's what the curency is). I don't know how much that is in U.S. dollars, but I figure it's more than I would want to (or could) spend on a seat. ::)  Can anyone give me a $ amount for that?

         Here's the listing:

OUCH!!! :o  Thanks Bob, I thought it would be higher, but didn't realize how much higher. I was just browsing anyway, thank God!
I liked the one I had on my CB72 Hawk, but I always wished that the rear of the seat wasn't flat like that. Oh well, doesn't matter now, huh?

                             Take care, Bill ;)

Thanks Dave, I used it to see just what the USD to JPY rate is now and WHOA, is it different than I remember. :o Of course I was there from Dec 67' - Dec 69' and it was $1 = 360Yen back then and at this time it seems to be that $1 = 102.881Yen. What a difference inflation makes. :-\  For example, that same bike would have cost me about $873.81 now days. :o :o And I would have passed! :-X

Boy, Bill, I would pay $873.81 in today's dollars all day long.  Even junk bikes with frozen motors are selling for over $1000.

couldnt you have the seat replicated by an upholstery shop using the bikes stock pan? it would be far cheeper...

I like that style of seat as well Bill. When it comes time to me wanting something like that my plan was to find the local marine upholstery shop and have them make something that looks similar to that on a pan that I build or modify from a stock one.
