I used Eagle One Express. They charge the same price for anywhere in the States. I think it was around $750. All they do is move MCs and have special trucks for it. Friendly and professional. The biggest damn cab you will ever see- as long as my house. It IS a house!  Recommend with no qualms.

Did you have to crate the bike or do they just roll it on the truck?

They take it as is-where is. I might recommend removing bar-end mirrors just for insurance, but they are VERY careful. When they dropped off my sidecar, there was a couple of '40s and '50s vintage Harleys in the truck that were gorgeous. There were all kinds of bikes, though- uncrated.
They say they can pick up from your house, but that cab is so big, do 'em a favor and do lift-off from a grocery store or something if you live on a small street.

Jeez, $750 sounds a lot.

The PO paid £150 to ship my 550K3 from Leicester to Wokingham in a custom Transit with ramp ++  The guy was a pro.

Come to think of it, Leicester to Wokingham is about 120 miles...

How far is it from Boston to St Pauls ??

Hiya, have you tried Forward Air? Some guys used them on the EasyRider trip last year to get their bikes from Boston to LA and it was around $500 for that trip, I believe. If I remember rightly, Forward Air supply crates but you have to supply the tie-downs. The bikes arrived fine with no problems.

I thought about Forward Air (which should be called Forward Truck), but they don't deliver and the nearest terminal to me is over an hour away. No buses in small town areas like I'm in.

SteveD,
I have never made that trip myself but it seems to be just a little longer that that.
Just checked "Streets and Trips" (the ONLY HALFWAY decent product that Micro-Sh!t has ever sold) and it claims that:
Boston, MA to St Paul, MN is only 1382.7 miles. Of course since I don't have actual addresses it assumes from city center to city center so it could be substantially more or less.
It's a big country!!

Well I'll be going from the westernmost side of Boston to about the center of St. Paul, so about 1379 miles.
