'75 CB550F oil pan
« on: August 25, 2005, 11:52:04 AM »
so the oil pan on my bike has a crack in it right at the drain plug. i tried ordering a new pan from service honda but apparently that part (part# 11210-323-000) has been discontinued >:(. so, my question to you fine folks is, can i just get the crack welded, or perhaps JB weld it myself? if neither one of those options are possible (or recommended), does anyone know a good place to get a new oil pan? it seems like it would be a common occurence, so i'm just looking for any tidbits of advice from anyone that has experienced this same issue.

thanks.

Run a search on "oil pan" or similar as I've seen loads of discussion on this problem on this board.
