melted cable
« on: May 12, 2008, 02:29:24 PM »
i recently got my cb running again after 10 years.
To make sure oil reached top of the engine, i removed spark plugs and cilinderhead covers and let the engine run on starter for 30 sec but then i saw smoke coming from under the seat so i stopped. I noticed the green wire (ground) was melted.
probably a dumb question but is it normal i got 12V on this wire when starting the engine? Everything is working (lights, starter,...).
