WTF? Is this a bit high?

http://dallas.craigslist.org/mcy/678364034.html

I see this all the time; otherwise attractive bikes with some mechanical issues, yet the owner still asks high dollar.

Come on, fix the bike's issues, and then get greedy.

I guess it doesn't hurt to try. There are suckers all over the place.

And what's with the rate quoted for the Honda shop to overhaul a carb? $150? Is that accurate? Damn, I have a cheap mechanic.

If the bike really is in that condition, then I wouldn't say it's unreasonable.  CB350s are becoming somewhat of a collector's item.

Looks right to me, might be a little high for the area it is in. Think of it this way, i could sell that bike hear in CA for 3g i might even try to get 3500for it. In 5 or 8 years that bike will sell for around that any where in the US. It is like an investment. 10 15 years ago i could pick up KO bikes for 500 +. If i would have and saved them i would be getting bank on the resale right now.
I bought my Honda 450 Black Bomber in 95 for 1000 which i thought high at the time, i can get 5g for it now with out blinking. Good investment and fun to ride.
