Ny North Country Sighting
« on: May 15, 2008, 06:29:01 PM »
Early in the am on Tuesday I saw a gorgeous late 70's metallic orange honda going southbound on route 87.  I can't be more descriptive than that to suggest a 750, but it was so striking that I slowed down to watch it go by--80's kawasaki-styled cafe rear "fender" was a nice touch.  If it's yours, I wanted you to know that you were noticed!

Isn't it always the way that we see a noteworthy bike in our travels and then because of time constraints or circumstances we can't turn around and get acquainted

I hear that. a couple weeks ago I saw a Eddie Lawton Replica Kaw. (at least I thought it was) in Central City KY. The guy turned down a side street and I turned around to check it out and he was gone. I talked to a friend and he said he's seen it to but doesn't know who it is. Central city isn't very big, so he shouldn't be that hard to find!! Like to get a good look at it if I can. Don't see many older Jap bikes around here.
