gone for a week or 2

my WONDERFUL dell laptop melted down this morning, literally, and it is now on it's way to tennessee to be repaired or replaced. anyways i likely wont be here for the week or 2 that it's gone. by then there will be pics of the FINISHED 750k. i'm doing paint on the sidecovers and tank in the morning. assembly of the chassis will commence after that.

they needed me to weld up some ladder racks on their install van before they were installed, and since we only have one car i'm just hanging out here for the day.

shocked to open my door this morning to the dhl guy with my laptop! basically i have a new computer, mother board, processor, memory, fan, heatsink, keyboard, and palm rest (top part of the case) and they sent me a new charger as well! i may have to take back SOME of the nasty things i've said about dell and their technical support. some but not all.

possibly the printouts of the class action lawsuit about THIS model of dell laptop overheating, both here in the states AND canada, plus the copy of the letter i planned on sending to the ftc if my machine wasnt fixed properly. they had my machine a total of 3 hours according to the shipping invoice with dhl.

I've had a Dell desk top for years and it's never been turned off ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) it keeps on working round the clock.

i've had nothing but trouble with this inspiron 1150, 3 motherboards now, 2 processors, 3 hard drives as well
