with my football club, when a team won a championship we would get on the booze back at the clubrooms, then later at night turn the floodlights on and play nude bullrush, some of the neighbours used to look forward to this time of year for a bit of entertainment.

back to Test Rugby tonight, where we kick some Australian butt, so just about time to start the warm up procedure, beer and more beer

right then, off to watch Canterbury give Wellington a good old bashing in the forwards, ah the joy of a cool lager while your province administers a bit of biffo to the mascara wearing ponces from the capital city

Tough luck scunny - have another beer ;D
I'm looking forward to the world cup next year, although I've got a nasty feeling England aren't going to put up much of a defence of their title - they've been playing poorly for the last couple of years and I don't think it's a clever tactic to deceive the opposition!

From this distance it looks like the kiwis will be pretty hard to beat - playing really good plus you don't think you have won the thing as many times as you should have. Outside bet on France though - they can beat anybody on their day if they can be bothered.

Isn't USA playing Uruguay for a place in the group stage today. They should go through and will be in the same group as England I think? (correct me if I'm wrong). Should be fun. ;D What group will Canada be in?

ChrisR we are looking good across the field but have a horrible feeling we are going to end up like England with the football world cup, we won it in 1989 and .............................................................., watch the French !!!
