How do you think Cassandra will look with this design on my gold side covers?

i would put as much thought into it as i would a tattoo (unless you don't mind stripping the paint and doing it again. and again.  and do a search for the best way to apply graphics.  as for the design you are the only person who's opinion matters.

I think that if you go with that design (which looks nice btw) then you'll need something on the tank to balance it out.  Nothing overblown, but a little something.

Klark Kent, I'm not having it painted on.   I will be putting some vinyl graphics (like stickers)....

mystic_1, I don't know if I want anything on the tank.  I kind of like it as is.

i assumed you were designing them yourself but even if you are buying canned tribal art decals, you might want to clearcoat over the decal.  I know Ive read something on here about that.

Red/white on the tank means red and/or white on the side covers, if anything.

I am not buying canned tribal art decals.  My gf is a graphic designer & she can design and print anything I want on my bike.

That's why I want something unique

then skip the tribal.  ;)

and unless the wife does vehicle graphics i would still look into what kind of clearcoat if any is best with decals.  although it does look like you know wht you are doing with paint.

+1 on the tank colors in the side cover graphic.  as the dude would say, it really ties the whole room together.

I think the side covers should mirror the tank.  I assume the tank is all paint?

that would be cool, but not ALOT of scroll work, small amount to enhhance the paint scheme

I think the Tribal Art looks fine. I would lose the Honda 350 stuff. It looks cluttered.

350, 550, it still looks cluttered. A nice centered design would look great.  I think the tank is great as it is.

I'm with Bobby.  It's a little busy.  As I was eluding to in my previous post, I would match the tank and side cover paint schemes.  Put the "Honda" on the tank, maybe with a wing logo, and the 350 550 on the side cover.  Any chance of matching the color of the red pinstripe and the wording?  The black seems like too much contrast.  IMHO,the tribal might look better on the top of the tank and also in the red.

True.  I can check out designs before I mess up my good paint job!
