What kind of camera are you using?  And how do you mount it?

It's just a cheapy Vivitar DVR-530 I put it on a mini tripod and stuffed the tripod into the top of my Hi-vis vest and jacket zipper. (I tied the lanyard to a loop I had on the vest - just in case.)

I forgot to close the screen for that vid - so the camera kind of drooped to the left a bit. I have a gorillapod on order which should be better as I can position the arms better to keep the camera a bit more stable.

Good work Loonymoon. But as the kids in America say, yo girlfriend, drivin' on the wrong side of the road is mad whacked! Or something like that. I have to admit I'd get killed my first day in the U.K.

I just came from a nice meet put on by the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club in Florence MA. and saw a bike similar to yours. Yours is a bit nicer though.

It does look and sound good. Come back an post how the Gorillapod works. I had considered one, but was afraid it would not hold the cam tight/rigid enough over bumps, etc., so I jury rigged something that clamps to various tubes. The Gorillapod looks like with would provide for more location flexibility though.

On the video, just where that recovery truck was stopping, if I'd turned left there's a tea hut in the woods. There were loads of motorcyclists in there. I pondered about stopping, but got a bit embarrassed about having the camera so didn't.

I'd forgotten there were so many speed bumps through the woods

loony what are the roads like where you live? Here in New England they leave much to be desired in many areas.

Pretty poor in some places, You can see on the video the amount of patching where they've replaced electricity lines or whatever. Not a problem for a car but a bike tends to follow the lines so they're best avoided.

Great video and I liked the overtaking sequence at the beginning  Nice to see the 350 being used to its potential. Bike sounded as though it was running well and looked like a good ride. Too bad about the speed bumps at the end!

Oh yeah and sexy voice  Takes me back to living in Oxford

but one comment, you know what I find weird? you guys in the uk drive on the left side of the road, and we here drive on the right side. however, both our round-abouts/rotaries go clockwise! weird!

trying to work that one out.. Do you give way to people from the right too then...?? Must do I suppose..

I've driven in the states but never been round a roundabout (thank god or I would have gone the wrong way) you don't have that many I suppose.How does that work then, as with a multi-lane road leading up to the roundabout if you're on a left branching onto the circle of the roundabout it would naturally slope to the left so you go on clockwise, but if you're on the right hand side of a multi-lane road - you would have to branch sharp to the left to go round clockwise instead of following the natural flow to go anticlock,...

 I've driven in Europe too and their roundabouts go anti-clockwise.

Loony you ride anti-clockwise on roundabouts (called rotarys here) and give way to traffic coming from the left.

Same as in Europe.

well i'll be darn. i haven't ridden on a roundabout in a while, and heck we do go counter/anti-clockwise! i don't know what i was thinking! i saw the video, and the roundabout looked regular to me. lets all give a good chuckle at my suspense!

uptworedline ya had me pausing! I don't see too many rotarys, NH near Westmoreland off of I91 and in Springfield, but I'll cut ya some slack because I tend to want to block out their very existence anyway.

We have a lot here, I like them, save's on traffic lights - though a lot of the bigger ones actually do have traffic lights on them too.

I remember some junctions in the states with the "who gets there first goes" rule.... scary 

On my 17 mile commute to work I have to negotiate 11 roundabouts. Three of them massive ones with traffic lights (some part time depending on time of day), three of them mini-roundabouts (no more than a painted circle and arrows on the road).

Hi Bob,

I took the following video of me riding my scooter (don't laugh) using the gorilla pod as a mount for the camera and with the legs stuffed under my hi-vis vest (which is a nice close fit). Unfortunately I forgot to check where it was facing so at first it's set too low but then I move it up a bit. The camera also ran out of battery before I got somewhere more interesting too.

Cool idea Loonymoon, I'll try that when my bike is roadworthy so you can see some of our lovely country too.
Damn shame about those speed bumps, everyone suffers just because a few idiots want to race (which off course should not include motorcyclists as we are slightly above the law ).
You certainly like to play with your bike, I saw two different back tire makes on your baby and at least 3 exhaust setups.
