Really a genuine noob. It took me ages to figure out how to do this post that should tell you something about me at least. Malc from Lincolnshire Uk here, owner of a pair of cb750 f2's of 1977 vintage. Both need some attention one more than the other and until recently most spares came via e-bay. Just managed to find a set of brand new 0.75 mm pistons and rings ready for a rebore in a attempt to keep it original aspossible rather than go down the wiseco route. Boring stuff maybe but its a start at least

Thanks for the welcome Dennis, hi! to you too. Just checked out the Uk Sohc club looks, like I have lots of stuff to learn about these forums. Great to see all the old bikes. I also run a 1968 Bonneville and 1998 Triumph trophy but they aren't part of this world. If I ever figure out how I'll post photo's.

Everything is a part of this world....check out threads like the "show us your other bike" thread. Heck we got threads about damn near anything around here!! Also the other other bike forum has some interesting reads both for technical assistance, general discussion etc...

Hi Mate welcome to the site. Where abouts in Lincolnshire are you from? I was in coningsby this afternoon picking up my cylinder head and barrels for my 750F1.I've had to have a re bore too. I can recommend Jim Morley of JME engineering if you're stuck. All the best with your bike, Andy

Hi Hector (?).

I see that you've registered in the UK but not posted (I'm an admin there too).  The sites are not connected other than they have many common members (that is members in common!) and use the same s/w.

John Burrin owns www.honda-sohc.co.uk and switched to this s/w a while ago after severe hacking problems with the old site. He's in Rutland. And he has F1s and F2s.

Hi andy1976 yep I can recommend jim morley he has one of my camshafts in at the moment and he was going to rebore a block for me but cmsnl.com have let me down with the new pistons so i'm stuck for the moment with that one. Hi Steve too yep I registered a day or two ago and have been looking around the Uk site, it looks full of good stuff. Oh and I live about 3 miles out of Coningsby towards Boston near the ORIGINAL New York he he.

I had trouble finding pistons too. You might want to try F.W. Thorntons in shrewsbury. Thats where I got mine from. Happy hunting, Andy

P.S Web site is, www.fwthornton.co.uk
