Rear Wheel Sprocket Teeth Alignment
« on: March 26, 2016, 12:46:12 PM »
I'm changing out the sprocket on my '75 750k, replacing a 48 tooth sprocket with a new 48 tooth from JT Sprockets. The new one is the same diameter and fits on the studs just fine. But when I lay the old sprocket over the new one, the teeth fall right in the middle of notches of the other sprocket teeth. Is this an issue? I would think not but just checking.

Thanks

So long as the teeth will overlap exactly is all that matters-sounds like they do (same pitch). The position of the drive bolts matters not so long as it fits on the hub properly as you say it does.
