Hav you tried turning your IMS out?  What setting are you currently using?

Indeed!
Is the IMS a fuel or air adjustment?
I'm guessing I should richen the idle mixture.

Trick question.

The IMS adjusts the total delivery of a fuel/air mix from both the Idle Jet and the Idle Air jet.  The IMS behaves like fuel adjust, though.  Turn out to make richer, in to make leaner.  It does have a limited range of adjustment, and little effect on mixtures above about 1/8 to 1/4 throttle position where the slide needles take over the bulk of the of the fuel mixture chores.  Howevr, making this richer does help throttle response becasue if the idle is left on the rich side, less fule is need from the accelerator pump to make the engine pick up from low RPM.

Cheers,
