New guy with a 350F
« on: May 25, 2008, 09:01:57 AM »
Hey everybody! Really glad to be a part of these boards. I've been lurking for a while and they really are an amazing source of information.

Anyway; My name's Austin, I'm from the great state of Texas, and, luckily, I don't live in the capital city. Too many jokes for my taste! I'm a complete newbie when it comes to motorcycles. Don't even have my license yet. I do, however, have a beautifully rusted and dilapitated CB350F that hasn't run in 20 years  ;D. I plan on changing that, so expect to see me on these boards quite a bit!

welcome-

Sign up for an MSF course now-  it will be no time before you have a running bike you want to know how to ride!  I too got my non-runner before my license anticipating a long rescusitation while I waited three months for my MSF course and license.  I had it running (rough) in two weekends and had an excruciating wait to be legal and safe.

good luck

Haunt the boards bro, I'm a newbie to the mighty SOHC machines myself but have already learned a heap from the chit chat on here and even had the odd question answered in non SOHC language that I could understand.
Ask and it shall be given.....well probably debated to death and thrashed with a stick until we have consensus. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

CB350F was my second bike, a lot of years have passed and a lot of bikes have been  come and gone, but I guess I will always remember my CB350, fine ride.
