I can't see this going in a good direction, no matter if we go down the rifle or gun path.

How would one go about getting a sample of that?

Call (800) 923-3623 to request a sample per their website

I don't know what scares me most, the fact that it's not a joke, or that you,Hope, know where to obtain the stuff.

Yes, TT, Terry likes the cheap shots.  He has learned the technique by sneaking up on the sheep, after all.

So, Terry are you ready for another gun discussion?  Or, just taking cheap shots when the opportunity arises?

Hey Ed, how's it going? Are you still doing "charity work" in underprivileged neighborhoods so you can solicit sex from poor single mothers? What a guy.....................  :P

No problem. To borrow an old one...casually turn the kill switch to off as you pass the bike. He'll likely spend a bit of time trying to figure out why it won't start.

Ha Ha Ha ha ha ha!   So Terry, you're already at your wit's end?  That trip was shorter than even I expected!!!  But then, your whole technique -- taking a joke comment I made a year ago out of context and presenting it as if it were serious -- was dubious to begin with.  It is satisfying to know that you've kept that little tidbit rattling around in your little head all this time, though!!!  I guess you've been wondering for all these many months which charity would best enable you to maximize your woolly conquests?

Well, Terry, fret no more!!!  I've found the perfect charity for you.  No further need to jump the neighbor's fences and sneak up on their ewes:

Adpot-A-Lamb conveniently located in New South Wales, Australia.

Maybe it is even tax-deductible for you?

Haaaaaave a nice daaaaaaaay ;D ;D ;D

hmmmm......I'm not sure of all the background here...but I will say this:

I let my friends harass me about damn near anything! However, if you aren't my friend you haven't EARNED that right. A lot of guys take shots at Terry because he is fun and can take it just as well as he dishes it but if I didn't feel that it was done in a friendly way I wouldn't do it....I am not sure based on my limited view into this situation that it is intended to be two buddies goofing on eachother. There may be some thin ice in this situation...

Let's be careful as to the intentions of our comments here guys...however if I am reading too much into it then I apologize and am more than willing to sit back and keep reading.

Dennis

rather than kill the thread... i'll just pump some crotch rocket life into the thing...

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=35298.msg363822#msg363822

if you're looking for speed, go to about 19.5 minutes in and sit back... yes, there is a reason i'm not looking down much... lets just say those guys that are passing me... well, they are on aprillias and have to be doing in excess of 130mph  ;)

a nice view of the speedo on a straightaway pops in way late in the video... that's just about the only look you'll get.

Good video Heffay! And yeah those guys were going pretty fast! What speed were you doing on the single lane parts (toward the end of the vid) - looked about 80-90mph? How was the camera mounted? Came out well.

One question though - why were you hogging the outside lane on the 2-lane parts? I saw guys undertaking you and one or two overtaking you crossing the double yellows. Any particular reason? Just curious.

cheers
Andy

ok... i wouldn't say hogging as i was doing over 100, i just didn't know they were going to fly by me at the pace that i was going much less at the pace they were going!  also, if you'll notice, i was passing and undertaking too  ;)  was a lot more like a race than a leisurely ride thru the mountains... at least that part up "horsepower hill" right before we stop at the over-look.

on the two lane... let's just say your estimate, for some parts is correct... there is a very short view of the speedo right after i pass the duc i follow for quite some time where the speedo reads WELL over your estimate   ;)   (i'll pass on posting the actual #)  ;) 8)

a note on the video... the raw footage was not nearly as good!  shake was removed w/ power director 5 then i took those files into roxio video wave for final editing... there is about 20 hours of work in the video project.  the original footage takes up about 10 gigabytes!!  thanks for the compliments!  oh yea, camera is a brand new canon a590is purchased to do the "old bike ride" video.  it is mounted to the chinbar on my helmet.

i think i have pictures of the mount in one of our camera threads somewhere.

Thanks Heffay for the explanation - yeah its hard to see you were doing a 100mph on those 2-lane parts! Scary as those guys were flying by you!! Great roads as well!

Even more impressed by the video work now that you said that! Great stuff and thanks for posting!

cheers
