OK, it was a copy of one of the propriatory engines and was the forerunner of the Model A, built between 46 and November 47,

It made 1bhp and reved to 5000rpm.

Over to someone else, time to go home to bed. ;D ;D ;D

everyone knows dimples are for cuteness.  can you imagine how uncute the 750 oil tank would be without them?  really uncute. thats how uncute.

I guessed, actually, based on the fact that much later ('70s) Honda used three valves on their 'mid sized' bikes.

Year and model please Nick
Sam. ;)

Damn! You mean I have to do some research to substantiate my answer? Before I go, I'll guess that it was on a 450 racer of some iteration....???? Don't know a year so I'll throw out 1965.

EDIT: I found this after a short troll through Messrs.Google. This was just before the Tokyo Show in 1966

Fortunately, Harada had come across some after-market disc brakes in a motorcycle accessory outlet during his trip to the U.S., and they had proved effective in the CB450. As a result, he immediately visited Lockhart, the developer and manufacturer.
