Year and model please Nick
Sam. ;)

Damn! You mean I have to do some research to substantiate my answer? Before I go, I'll guess that it was on a 450 racer of some iteration....???? Don't know a year so I'll throw out 1965.

EDIT: I found this after a short troll through Messrs.Google. This was just before the Tokyo Show in 1966

Fortunately, Harada had come across some after-market disc brakes in a motorcycle accessory outlet during his trip to the U.S., and they had proved effective in the CB450. As a result, he immediately visited Lockhart, the developer and manufacturer.

U win Nick, your turn now ;D ;D ;D

Alrighty then. Here's a quickie. List the differences between the last of the VFR750s and the first of the VFR800s. I had an '00 800 and was always curious as to how it would compare to the previous iteration.............................

Naw he was GIVEN ER

Saw him ahead in traffic wringing it, started catching up to him before he heard me. Nearly caught him at a light and he got the jump so I ran up behind him, and we both ended up at the next light.

So we lined up, I went hard.....saw him in my mirror once I got through the intersection, and through the next few gears till he finally caught up..

In reply to Hondas CB750, Yamaha produced two bikes in 1972. The first one was the rotary RZ201 seen here in this link.

http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/prototype-spy-concept/YAMAHA-1972-RZ201.htm

What was the other bike they showed at the same time, it didnt go into production.

Write your answer on the back of $100 bill and send to me, the first correct answer will win their money back ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Erm, he said plaintively, isn't anyone going to answer my question?

And for those nay-sayers as to the efficacy of the VFR range, the last 750 was the motorcycle of choice for most of the motorcycle tyre manfucaturers to evaluate their tyres, bescause of its handling characteristics.

And, yes, I know Terry is lurking in the background waiting to say coughcoughsplutterchocolatecamshaftscoughsplutter. But that was before Honda got it all sorted out.
