andy - and here i thought you travelled so much because you heard of a great diner "just down the road"! one thing leads to another and whaddya know, arizona is just around the corner. good food is a wonderful thing!
it struck me that we yanks oftentimes speak in a verbal shorthand, referencing verbal touchstones that are picked up from movies and some tv shows. not that there's anything wrong with that! (seinfeld). but perhaps i just need to get out more!

now having said that.....a few more good flicks for the road
Die Hard
Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Casablanca
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - or any spaghetti western with Clint (ya, i know where they were made..)
The French Connection
RoboCop
one or two episodes of Gilligan's Island - but only so one could answer the question without hesitation: "Ginger or Maryanne"
and how many episodes of "The Three Stooges" would be considered mandatory?
