other carbs for CB750s?
« on: May 22, 2008, 01:37:20 AM »
Does everyone use factory carbs on their SOHC CB750s, or are/were there after market options?

I did initiate a search, but I found no definitive results. In any case, I am just curious as to what my options are further down the road.

There have been a number of aftermarket options over the years.  In times past there have variety such as . . .Mikuni smoothbores (29mm typically), Weber (and other brands) dual carb setups, single carb or FI /log manifold setups typcially for turborcharger use and Keihin CR racing carbs.  For new stuff today, Cycleex offers a dual carb setup (webers?) that sort of fits in the stock frame, and updated Keihin CRs are a available.  Search under Keihin CR for more info . . .

I asked a similar question in this thread and got many answers.
