Randall,

I have one extra that I was keeping in case I screwed up another one.  I'd be willing to let it go on the assurance that if I ever need it, you will remove it from your bike at a moment's notice and return to me.  I will engrave my name on it to make sure that I get that exact one back.  JAG got off easy!

And I'm local.  I work in Newport Beach, so I could probably get it to you cheaply and quickly.  PM your info.

I am forever in debt to ya B.H.! ;)

Cafe Racing is mainly a matter of taste. It is an atavistic mentality, a peculiar mix of low style, high speed, pure dumbness, and overweening commitment to the Cafe Life and all its dangerous pleasures. I am a Cafe Racer myself, on some days - and it is one of my finest addictions. ~H. S. Thompson~

Thanks for the willingness to share, BH!

PM is sent.

And I just watched Deliverance for the first time yesterday, so you're picture's really freaking me out right now.  Wicked banjo player, though.

You need to get the head to at least 350 degrees then have some method of clamping it that wont remove the heat too fast. (wood blocks?) The socket will cool the stub down slightly which should allow it to be removed.
Probably be a good idea to remove as much of the adhesive as possible before you start.
