CB750K2 Oil Tank replacement?
«

Has anyone ever tried replacing the oil tank with a automotive engine oil cooler?
I've seen something similar on a k1000 that the wrenchmonkees did, but didn't know if that was done to augment the motor (whether if it was wet sump or dry).

K1000 is a wet sump ours is a dry sump hence the need for a separate oil tank.
In theory if your oil cooler was large enough to hold the volume of the oil tank that may work but it would be a huge oil cooler. ie; ugly
I am not aware of anyone that has tried this.
