Ducati 4V maintenance

Hey, I'd talk about a 71 750 Honda if I could find one I could afford.

But, till then, just did a valve shimming on the 4V. I had to replace 5 rockers,
Ducatis have a problem with the chrome flaking off the rocker arms.
Anyway, the shimming is kinda tricky what with openers and closers and the little keepers and all.
Easiest way is to pull the cams (which I had to do to inspect the rocker arms) and with the cams
out it's really not to bad a job.

I've put about 40 miles on it since I finished yesterday.
First 20 with no fairings and she gets light on the front end with out the fairing down force.
100mph and the front tire of the ground is interesting ;D

Good stuff RM.  You know, you could sell that Italian bike and get yourself a damn good 71 CB750. :)
